A Vision That Guides Our Work
Agenda for Social Equity 2074 is more than a strategy—it is a commitment to building a fair and inclusive society for generations to come. It unites global ambitions, such as the UN Sustainable Development Goals and Agenda 2063, under one principle: social equity as the foundation of sustainable progress. At its core are 17 Social Global Goals (SGGs), covering everything from education and mental health to youth empowerment, community resilience, and ethical technology.
How EUSL Foundation Brings It to Life
EUSL Foundation is where this vision becomes reality. We take surplus generated by purpose-driven businesses and reinvest it into projects that matter—projects chosen by the people who know their communities best. Every initiative we fund is connected to one or more of the 17 Social Global Goals, ensuring that local action contributes to global progress.
Our approach is simple but powerful: members decide, the Foundation safeguards, and local enterprises deliver. This means that decisions are democratic, funds are managed with integrity, and impact stays close to home.
From Vision to Action
The process begins when surplus from EUSL and WOSL Group members is transferred to the Foundation. These funds are ring-fenced and dedicated exclusively to social initiatives. Anyone—members, NGOs, even municipalities—can submit a proposal. Once vetted for feasibility and compliance, the proposal goes to a Market Area ballot, where members vote on what should be funded. Approved projects are then implemented by local SMEs under clear contracts and accountability standards. Finally, results are measured and published for full transparency.
Why It Matters
Public welfare systems are essential, but they cannot do everything. Budgets shrink, priorities shift, and communities are left waiting. Our model complements these systems by providing continuity and flexibility. When a municipality ends a youth programme, we can keep it alive—because our funding depends on member mandate, not political cycles. This is Charity as a Business in action: a system where economic success and social equity reinforce each other.
